I think I’ve forgotten how to read a book.

I’ve been told to read this for research. Please don’t perceive me.

Every book I’ve read set in France these last few weeks (perhaps 6 or so) has mentioned the same three things within the first ten pages: a incomprehensible list of street names I cannot pronounce, oysters, and some form of alcohol.

I can’t stop thinking about this book and how I’d rather be reading than anything on this planet

I’ve found, as I become a reader shaped by experience, Hemingway to be an author I get to treat myself to every couple of months. 20 pages in and I already can sense a beautiful relationship between this memoir and myself. All good things will find me eventually!
