I just threw up in my mouth a little

“We must say to ourselves: What would Napoleon have done? He was the boy in a crisis. He knew his onions.”

Reading a play on the iPad where it doesn’t follow the play format is such a chore

“I never thought of that!”
“Start now.”

Guys… I fully sent a request to the Goodreads team to add this to their catalogue AND THEY DID IT. Within like??? 5 hours too. Crazy stuff.

“Women are expected to desire a committed relationship whereas men should want sex without commitment. This means that women will need to attract men into relationships while men’s constant interest in sexy, new women is viewed as “natural”. “

I feel like the voice actors for Tamlin and Rhysand should be swapped. Rip

Crying in the Halle isn’t a good look.

"When a man attacks a girl this is never identified as a heterosexual assault, but when a man attacks a boy this is often identified as homosexual"

"This is an orgasmic juxtaposition" as though it were spoken from the depths of my soul

Party time

Hehehehe reread time

I’m wondering whether I should read the first book again before continuing with the second one

“Stop with the fucking passive voice, just stop it stop it STOP IT.” Who does this remind you of

“But they were only first cousins, and against the odds, they had managed to fall in love.”

Listen. I guess??? It’s the apocalypse?

Oh. Still. Rip.

Ok nvm easy dub

Wähhh almost threw up

I kinda guessed that this would be for a younger audience… but I think this is even too young for me. Not sure I can finish this

“The idea of Jonah Fisher coming to me, hat in hand, begging for casual teaching work, was like reading Deleuze.” Oh my god deleuze mentioned. Call Kevin.

Can we let rivals be actual rivals before things start ‘zinging’ when they touch?

Don’t have a bookmark so this is how I am keeping track :D

In what world is milk with honey a “strange” drink?

Ew what the actual fuck

What a little bitch

“We are so uncomfortable with confronting the fact that some men are extreme misogynists and therefore unappealing to women as sexual partners that our public discourse engages at face value with the ridiculous notion that a woman choosing not to have sex with a man puts him in a state of victimhood that is legitimate enough to be granted its own title.”

I’m continuously missing these mundane moments in between ‘bigger’ events. Chapters end a bit abruptly sometimes and move on so quickly that I wish I could just stay in the moment a little longer
