I can already tell where this book is going. It's dark and disturbing, but interesting enough to continue reading.

Very good read!

From the very first paragraph I have found it to be a very good read. Of course I'm only on page nine so

Absolutely loved this book, from beginning to end I was thoroughly entertained. This is a children's fantasy, but it isn't childish. The young characters are respectful and likeable. The different areas were mapped out in a way that corresponded to where the characters were at on the map. The two main characters are separated and then the book carries on the two storylines beautifully.

There was a big buildup for what, the main protagonist gets arrested at the end and that's that. I was not impressed with this book for that reason. The book did spend enough time on character development that if it would have just been a bit more carefully planned out there could have really been something big at the end.

I'm still not sure I even know who these characters are. It does bounce around between two different main protagonists and honestly because I took a huge break in between some of the chapters, I'm feeling a bit lost.
Today I picked it up with renewed interest.
