Bree’s immaturity makes this a tough read for me. I know everyone loves this but I’m not really on board

The trouble with reading YA is that teenagers are annoying. Bree is irritating the shit out of me, but her behaviour makes sense in context - she’s a grieving teen.

It’s taking me awhile to read this because I feel like we’re building to something awful and it’s making me anxious.

Might dnf? I don’t mind an age gap but the fmc being 17 is too much ick for me. He’s 34 ffs.

Book club book this month. Why is this romance book 700 pages?!?

Good so far but I’m not riveted

Poppy is incredibly annoying but I’m pushing through

There’s been a lot of laughing out loud and squealing so far

Having fun but also waiting for shit to hit the fan!

This is not skilled writing, some of it is just so on the nose and it’s all tell, not show, but I’m still enjoying it so far!

As a person struggling to read in general atm, I can’t decide if I should push through. I hate Beamer and famously don’t enjoy books with unlikeable main characters.

Can’t seem to really get into this. Not sold on the FMC.

Not enjoying this at all, don’t care about the characters or what happens. No idea why I’m forcing myself to finish it but here we are.
