Slow start but I’m off and running. Loving it so far!

Took me a minute to get engrossed In the world but now I’m invested... so invested 😳

So happy to be back with Cormoran and Robin again!

Starting March 1st for #middlegrademarch readathon.

Taking a pause to read a book that came in at the library. Plus I’m not ready to finish and then have to wait forever for the next installment.

The beginning was rough. I almost gave up because the world building format wasn’t clicking. About 5 chapters in it started making more sense to me. I’m now starting chapter 13 and I at least know I’ll finish it and not need to DNF.

I don’t know when to laugh or just be utterly disturbed by what was considered to be sports. Okay so maybe I’m doing a little but of both.

Really enjoying this book so far, her style and story style reminds me quite a lot of Sarah Addison Allen.

Been in a massive reading slump lately so I thought it might be time to re-read these but instead of my original books I'm reading these from a beautiful hardback set I bought last year.

So not sure how I feel about this book yet. My emotions are all over the place but mostly feeling confused, sad and angry.

Dr Who meets Sherlock is pretty accurate so far.

This reminds me a bit of the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith
