the first part of this book is still good but it is kind of a slog to get through. but once things start properly kicking off around halfway and the pov characters start coming together it does take off a lot. i can definitely understand why many people do not stick with it and drop it despite me enjoying myself a lot now

wow this book is big. bouncing between my paperback, ebook, and audiobook for this one to hopefully get it off my shelf finally after years but i like this so far
