Was kicking myself for only bringing a 600 page book on a trip, hard to make yourself start that. But the first five pages had me laughing out loud and muttering holy smokes to myself

I thought this was abt lesbians :(

Bought this at powells, reading it right now at stumptown, my ode to the portland gods

Fun but not my style

I was catfished by the book cover. Multiple mentions of trauma, therapy, and relationships and 0 on shopping malls or living near a swamp or trying to make it in rural America

Really gnawing on this one

Really enjoyed the stories but just wish the endings would’ve been grand finales

so mad I could choose any book to read about public health for my class and I decided to pick one written by podcasters

Have heard this book mentioned so many times…can’t wait to see if it digs

Have to admit I judged this book by its cover and the fact I frequently saw it in airports. However it was not about being a teacher as I suspected but rather about how religion breeds ignorance. I think they should go for darker colors next time

Bleh. I’m all for books about women vs. the void but can they at least make the void a little more interesting

I hope day this becomes known as “a classic”

When do you decide to stop a mild book? Today it was at page 84 after I saw I wasn’t even halfway done. Any book that feels like a chore is not a book for me!

Didn't finish. The book's plot was messy, and it dragged on.
