Enjoyable.

Long and found it quite repetitive. Too similar to other books I’ve read. Not sure I’m able to finish.

Was expecting so much more.

Poor:

His family never a high priority, his ego and selfish demands and woe is me attitude are his only priorities. I appreciate and acknowledge addiction, challenges faced and the impact on those around him but in this example of addiction, this man makes excuses throughout. Respect that his wife stuck by him but why?! The woman and her son deserved better.

Possibly one of the most selfish men I’ve ever listened to.For years he dismissed the values of having a wife and a son, the happiness and joy right in front of him doesn’t even factor.

Absolutely loving what appears to be an honest, raw life history. Absolutely inspiring individual

Author is a great narrator but some of the individuals being interviewed are definitely not.
Too annoying for an audiobook but I’ll check out the book.

Good but not convinced the researches gives woman the empathy and support needed. Focus and support appears to be angled towards the male abuser unless I’m misunderstanding.
Will keep listening as there’s some good info/facts.

It’s taken 60% to introduce all characters. Very little storyline aside from ex-wives and unhappy marriages!

Good so far although mixing Scottish accents with American is somewhat frustrating to the listener.

Boring!
