Philhatch is on page 250 of 297 of Embassy of the Dead
Getting off Goodreads I think, it's starting to get glitchy and keeps asking me to login again when looking at certain features. Just seen someone else recommend The Story Graph, which looks a lot better. I'm mr_phil over there if you want to add me.

Btw, Embassy Of The Dead is excellent, thoroughly enjoying reading it to Tiny (8yo, nearly 9). It's so refreshing to see really good descriptive writing for children.

Abandoning this one very quickly. Dahl-style LOOK HOW UGLY AND FAT THIS UNPLEASANT CHARACTER IS almost immediately. *sigh*

As today I've entered The Year Of The Hoopy Frood Who Really Knows Where His Towel Is, I'm having a re-read, before I have a go at Eoin Colfer's part 6.

Philhatch is starting Screen Burn
Ever punctual to the party, I'm finally starting to read this book about television from 2005, having picked it up in a charity shop provably about 3 years ago. I used to read Brooker's Guardian Guide column this is largely edited from, and thoroughly enjoyed it at the time.

The foreword is by someone we won't mention. Not sure why he's listed as a co-author here... o_O
