Been slowly pecking away at this book. It's interesting, I just haven't had as much time to read as before!

I'm enjoying the report-style interludes between chapters (even though I keep having to change font sizes to make it readable on my kindle lol,) it's fun to read Pip's insight on things. She has a very strong voice, even when she's trying to be analytical.

finally realized that "boot" is referring to the trunk of a car LOL. I'm like "why is there blood IN the boot but not the outside? hmmmm..." 😭

not switching to the US version though!!!

The story's really starting to pick up now that an odd setting and some interesting characters are getting established! I'm so scared for Lola LOL
