Murali Behara is on page 15 of 462 of Fantasyland: How America Went Haywire: A 500-Year History
this is a long read and I still have 25% remaining and #2 in the hold queue; scary and entertaining at the same time.

scary because in the fantasy land, we have presidents, law makers, supreme court chief justices, notable academics, surgeons, psychologists and even fringe-physicists; pretty much most people?

probably a must read for permanent residents and citizens of fantasy land, at least once!

At Chapter 15 of 38..... Page turner for sure. Years later this book will easily be one of Rebecca's finest productions. I love the science, I love the story and I love the style of composition. Love, love, love it!

Leave the story telling to the Science writers (Rebecca Skloot). Fantastic start.

Tiring to read about dinosaurs like Cyrill Burt. On Pg312, there's a stereotype view of Burt, but nevertheless a powerful image of poverty in working class homes and it's effect on intellectual development of children. On Pg 313, the author quotes, "Burt regarded left-handedness as motor disability". LOL.

consensus in... studies is... systems that make mass murder possible, require broad participation of society. Yet nearly all of the histories leave out half of those participants..., as if women's history happens somewhere else. It is an illogical approach and a puzzling omission. The dramatic stories of these women reveal darkest side of female activism", started Wendy Lower. Beautiful prose. Reminds me of Tony Judt

Was intrigued by the title, and the author started by saying, transitions aren't covered by historians. Wanted to hear a perspective and so far, it is quite entertaining ;-)

Murali Behara is on page 171 of Brain Bugs: How the Brain's Flaws Shape Our Lives
In Ch5 the author talks about some monkeys innate sense of fear of snakes! I too have the same ;-) Like primates, apparently we can compute and comprehend food but not the currency. In Ch6, the author also argues that $700B for national defense & just $2B for national healthcare research is xenophobia :-P
