Did Anne Lamont really just crawl into my brain, set up a tent inside, and camp out for a couple weeks to observe my behaviors and thought patterns when writing? Even down to the hypochondriac tendencies? I love this woman.

I love her writing style already lol.

I got this book as a gift when I graduated college two years ago and I’m only now starting to read it.

Honestly, reading this book is even challenging me to stick to daily habits. Not even just practicing my instrument, but other things in life. I think the quote that’s sticking so far is “it takes more energy to decide whether or not to do something.” I’m going to have to message Christine and ask why she’s gotta be real like that 😂
