DNF since the looming cheating theme is really irritating me

sigh… another DNF trying to chase the Alchemised high. The source/master dynamic felt so uncomfortable and boring and the FMC was unlikable. Also nothing was happening

Plot is too simple and predictable and like the Hunger Games. Even worse since I just came from Alchemised that had a great story. Romance also wasn’t there. DNFing this

ended up reading a summary of the plot and i’m glad i didn’t finish it

cant believe i’m halfway through the book and feel like nothing important or interesting has happened.. looks like it’s time to drop it

Ch 9
Too many characters to keep track of and there’s too much fluff added with all the family members. Main characters also don’t have much depth to their relationship. Not sure if I’ll continue.

Ch 15
MMC is so icky and condescending. Everytime the FMC talks to the MMC, he has to make everything sexual or dirty and it’s so annoying.

Life kinda got in the way and the book was good but not great. Looks like I’m not finishing this one either.

Not feeling the characters or the writing.

Ch 25
Not much romance. It’s just boring stuff about their work stuff instead of the relationships. Loved Exodus and Flock but idk if I’ll finish this one.

Couldn’t get into it sadly. Was really excited for this one

Feeling a bit too slow that after 3h of reading we’ve only had some minor interactions with the main characters. Too much other fluff

Realised this book has cheating and it’s not my vibe. The writing is also subpar. Dialogue kinda cringe sometimes - DNF

Decided to stop reading this book. Been forcing myself through it. Not really feeling the plot. Pretty boring.

Finding myself skimming through it. Too much unnecessary filler and the pace is too slow. Not feeling any angst either.

Ch 27
Really wanted to finish this since I’m over halfway but I feel like I’m forcing myself and not truly enjoying it. It’s more interesting in the middle than the beginning but with 3h more of read time, I just don’t think I can do it.

27% in and they finally finished discussing politics to start on the adventure. I was super excited for this book but the beginning felt too boring. Not sure if I can finish it.
