I read about 80% of Chad-Michael Simon's book in 2020 but can't remember how it ended. I blame it entirely on a traumatizing year and am re-reading it through a more open and appreciative lense. When I met CMS back in late 2010 he had been writing Yellowstone BOC for a while - It was his white whale. These characters had been teetering around in his head for ages and it is a beautiful thing to read them come to life.
