There is so much touched upon in this book. Sadness, horror, politics, religion, childhood, adulthood, acceptance, reluctance, intentions, accidents, friendship, enemies, growth, death, power, privilege, honesty. I am loving it yet hating that any of this needs to happen. The story is in one place but I feel undercurrents, ripples, tidal waves that apply to EVERYONE! Exceptionally detailed and uniquely presented.
