the age gap still feels sooo weird. like you practically raised her like an older brother? 15 years of age gap? she’s 23 and he’s 38. im 22 soon to be 23 and cannot imagine dating someone 37-38. i hope they grow on me because right now it’s giving daddy issues (and little sister?) relationship that’s definitely not gonna end nicely if it ends up happening.

the way Hawthorne traits are referred to in this book are annoying the hell out of me. it gives tigger from Winnie the Pooh vibes - “Tiggers never…” “the wonderful thing about being a tigger is…” - once I noticed how hawthornes and tiggers were similar in reference lingo this book was over for me😭
