Why is every 1 in 5 chapters with Davian. He’s easily the best and most interesting character not to mention the protagonist. The other chapters are 1/5 for me and he’s at least 3/5 and at best 5/5 like cmon.

All the flashbacks in this book make it incredibly tough to get through. Like can we talk about the present for 2 chapters without getting interrupted. I hate that the flashbacks are in italics as well, those just make it harder for me to read for some reason.
