This is going to be a tough book to read.

Ok, so I’ve reached chapter 4 and didn’t expect the triggers for losing my parents to hit me quite that hard. Will it stop me reading on? No, but definitely need to stop and pause for a bit.

Struggled to get into this up until 10 pages ago. Now can’t put it down

I’m really struggling with this one. Not sure if it’s because it’s on Audible but I can’t keep track of the characters or the plot. Still only chapter 28 😬

Loving this, only about 150 pages in but really enjoying it

Rereading this one. I listened to the audible version last time and now have a copy of the paperback complete with the illustrations. Loved the audible version and excited to see it come to life now.

Harrowing, no other words. So difficult and emotional to read but compelling at the same time.

Finding this really hard going. Listening on audible but struggling to keep up with which characters are in which chapters.

One of my favourite authors, rereading all her books again.

So excited to start this one. Been waiting ages for it to download on my kindle.

I’ve got to chapter 16 and it’s turned a corner. Gripping is suddenly the only word to describe this book.
Audible version, so I foresee long walks this next week to finish it.

Let’s see what the hype is about, want to read the book before I see the film and heard lots of good things about this book.

Rereading an old favourite.

Cathy Glass’ books are always harrowing to read but I wasn’t prepared for the graphic account of animal abuse in this one.

Wow! Can’t put this book down. Gory, gripping and a great read.

Gripping. A compulsive read. It jumps around a bit to begin with, whilst lots of characters and angles are introduced but it’s picking up pace as the jigsaw pieces are coming together.

Taken a while to get into this book, I almost gave up after a few chapters but persevering and starting to come together. More of a slow burner than my usual thrillers, but a friend has given me this one so wanted to read it.

Harrowing read, but I can’t put it down.
