It started off very slow for my liking, but after a week of taking a break from it, I am so invested in the story. I literally take it everywhere with me.

I am more interested in how the battle of wills between Adam and Darius is going to resolve itself.

I am also rooting for a few people, Liam, Nelly and Meredith❤️💕🌹

I've battling with a local fiction title for over a month now, and decided a bit of suburban noir will clear the cobwebs in my head.

I don't know if I should root for Aadil and Tasneem yet, the jury is still out on this one.

I am perplexed at how Tasneem couldn't continue her studies while married to her ex-husband. And secondly, as a divorced 27-yr old, why is she studying full time and living with her stifling very Indian parents? I can't say I am empathic to the way her Mom is treating her.
