Um I’m taking a break from this sorry, the length is quite intimidating

I’m trying to read it but I can’t 😭 it seems too slow, maybe part of the problem is that I’m reading an ebook

I think it’s better read in a physical copy so will wait until I can get it

not a fan of non fic books but this memoir is good so far, i actually realised there's a different feel while reading knowing that the pages im going through really happened

I think I’m going to DNF this, it’s way too slow😭 maybe I’ll get back to it some other time

it’s so slowwww, I’m just trying to pull through

“I need you to do one last thing for me, okay?”
“What is it?” I ask.
“After we hang up … I’m going to call you again. And I need you to not
pick up this time. Can you promise me that?”
He needs me to break our connection for good. He needs me to move
on.

Letting go isn’t about forgetting. It’s balancing moving forward with
life, and looking back from time to time, remembering the people in it.

Just like the lantern. I wanted to let go of everything but I can’t even let go
of this. How am I supposed to let go of Sam?

I'm enjoying it so much, almost at the end..... It's a lovable contemporary enough for me to own it, I definitely will
