I’ve realized I only enjoy the book when it’s about anyone other than Julie and those closely associated with her. Those characters crumble into one-note filler people around her, and her own character POV, is insufferably cringe.
But when the book (rarely) pivots away to a character mostly untouched by Julie (Tyler), it becomes moderately enjoyable. Hoping more of that will help me finish this!
