this will be the third lyla sage book i have read and i feel like with every book that i have read so far, the book itself is fine but i feel super disconnected with the characters and by the end feel like i dont really know them at all, despite the past several hundred pages with them.

so far this one is unfortunately looking like it may be the same :/ reaaallly hoping that the last 168 pages do something for me!
