I really wanted to like this, but found it incredibly lackluster. it read like it was written by a man. the premise is interesting, the writing lets it down. could have been a translation issue, but even disregarding that the pacing was tedious.

been really looking forward to this one and am not sure I'll be able to make it through the stylistic choices. I understand the idea behind zero page breaks and seemingly unlimited mid-sentence asides. I just don't think it's for me. going to keep trying, but the ambition is low.

I think this may be one of the most beautifully radically romantic things I've read.

these people are unlikable. if this wasn't for book club i'm not sure i'd stick with it.

such a mixed bag so far for me. have loved a few, slogged through one, and just skimmed another rather than completely DNF it.

the first six chapters were sooo sloooow and then suddenly i'm halfway through the book

why does every bi woman in a cute rom-com need to be so sex obsessed? nothing against this story specifically, just may be the final straw for me...

i understand the logic behind the narration style, but i HATE it

unless you've got really good eyes and really great light, do yourself a favor and read the ebook version. the font choice is pretty, but super eye straining at that size.

this is going to be one of those weird books where i love it, but i don't think i could ever recommend it to anyone
