I keep forgetting to update on here, but I've been chipping away at this massive book. It is very well written but dense.

Liked this quote from the end of chapter 24:
"The Western World must make up its mind as to whether it hates colored people more than it hates communists, or communists more than colored people." - Richard Wright, Nov 1960

The third book, The Ill-Made Knight, made me sad. I really enjoyed it though. Most of the characters are tragic in their own way, and the trials they endure play into that, but all in all I think T.H. White does a great job of reminding readers of the nature of being human and how our experiences shape us.

The next book is called The Candle in the Wind, which as usual I have know familiarity with.

Finished The Witch in the Wood. Didn't love this one, but it was not awful by any means. Just felt more like a means to give information, which is fine in this context. As a standalone book, I think most people would get bored.

Next is The Ill-Made Knight. I am halfway through this one I think and it is my favorite I have read so far. Lancelot is an interesting character and offers a fun change in perspective.
