better than the first one but still, gabbie hanna is not a poet and this is not poetry. the last parts were in plain text and they were so much better because she’s a storyteller, not a poet. as a poetry book this sucks.

i'm TERRIBLE with non fiction books! i've been reading this book for A WHOLE YEAR and i still haven't been through with the first half. UGGGHHHH

i'm at the beginning and the story is awfully cheesy. catchy though. cant wait to get to the parts where interesting stuff start happening.

Yine early 1900'lerden, düş gibi bir roman. Kuyucaklı Yusuf'u bitirdikten sonra boşluğa düşmüştüm, benzer üslup sahibi ve tartışılmaz zekasıyla feminist Halide Hanım bana cidden iyi geldi. Yine bir solukta bitecek gibi gözüküyor.

I'm trying to improve my reading pace but I just can't bring myself to read the Quran "fast". I feel obligated to examine every sentence word by word.
