Expected military sci-fi, discovered space porn. Not complaining.

Awesome so far but Neil deGrasse Tyson is starting to wear thin.

A lot of not so subtle environmentalist preaching.

Opposite of a page turner. I'm almost afraid to turn the page and find out what terrible thing will next befall these poor people.

I didn't realize that this is a serial. Well, I'm hooked. More please.

I can't figure out what's wrong with this book. Maybe it's me. It has all the ingredients for a good story but I find it an effort to read. Maybe too many characters to track? Maybe it's the would be/should be protagonist who seems secondary to the plot and spends his time worrying about his sailboat? I don't know . . . I'll plod on.
