I thought by now I’d have a grasp on who was who in this vast cast. But as many of them start similarly I still get lost.

I ended up enjoying this.

The epilogue tho made it trite the beginning heavy handed. But there is no denying it’s a book I’m glad to have read.

Intriguing story of intertwined family and generational pain

Heavy handed story telling

Author has thought about what tech powers his world. I feel I am getting an info dump of information not currently impactful to the story right now.

I do like that she retrieves and reuses things. It annoys me when people cut rope like it made itself. Rope making in wild is a multi step process.

Very much a book of its genre. If you love half the content being notifications from the «system» and the story taking its expected course, then this book is for you. Though this current sections seems to be a full chapter of notifications. Everyone which starts with « Congratulations, you have learnt …»

I’m gonna say I did not enjoy this book. But that’s not what it sounds like. What I mean is it roiled my emotions more than many a book has of Kate.

In other words I recommend you read it.

It’s the fact that many of the situations in the book are understandably negative situations. So the feels I felt were negative emotions. So I don’t enjoy negative emotions. So kudos on that.

Spiler

Some enlightened people have to take a brew to transfer but agressors just get caught up and are taken along Grrr

Book 3 is a bit of a disappointment. Uneven application of the stated worlds laws.

Interesting mathmatical programming premise

Settling down a bit. So able to follow

Listening to audio book on kobo. Not read in monotone as such. More each sentence seems to have the same tone and modulation. Lots of characters. Lots of tech details that make up this universe, not always in service of the action

2 for one deal

Two chapters in. Too much exposition. Too fast. Too much info being dumped.
