A situation in Opposite of Always where i would’ve acted differently would’ve been not going to see Kate on the day Frannys dad comes home. On pages 203-209 Jake goes to visit Kate instead of going straight to his Friends house to make him mad in the future because he showed up late.

The lesson I think my character needs to learn is to not care about what others think, because everyone is different and have different unique styles. For example, the main character is from Houston and she recently moved to NYC and they dress different from her. Now she doesn’t know how to fit in with everyone else.

The current society in the novel affects the protagonist by making her want to steal precious things from rich people. For example, in the beginning of the book she was in argentina and she had to steal a painting in argentina they have beautiful painting there. Then when she tried to steal the painting the person who was watching her didn’t care. So in this book the society in Argentina doesn’t care if they steal.

For example for her birthday she was bragging how she was going have all these glamorous decorations and her birthday planner was the best one.
