A few things I appreciate about this story (mild spoilers):
-The killer is revealed about halfway through, so the big surprise (presumably) isn’t whodunit.
-The MC has a big secret, and when she tells her friends, they are chill about it

I’m enjoying this one, but I wish one of the big secondary characters would stop being referred to as “the freshman” this far in. It’s clear their relationship has grown beyond that kind of distinction.

After trying (and failing) to get through the print version, I’m already halfway through the audio. I should have started with this!

Not wild about the love triangle, but it's so minor compared to the intense, gothic murder mystery happening, which I love.
