It's annoying that three people say Xavier looks like Rhysand, yet he's a clueless single vet. A hot vet is believable (hello, Dr. Evan!), but that hot and oblivious to the fact? 10s know they're 10s. Especially as a confident doctor. He can't be arrogant at work but not arrogant about his looks. Romance novel .00001%, I guess.

It's a love triangle yet neither guy seems trustworthy and it's not a part of a series? 😲

I am trying hard to stick to this book but I am really bored by their day-to-day. The storytelling is building up to a couple exciting things, but it's so slow, and meanwhile we're reading about shoveling horse manure and preparing for some silly competition involving a paintball fight.

The book actually has 1216 pages, not 706, so I feel cheated of my achievement thus far.

Daniel might be on my top 5 favorite romantic heroes now but the insanity surrounding their delicious slow-burn romance had not caught my interest in any way whatsoever. I love surreal humor but I couldn't care less whether or not they find that bloody weapon.

The writing is very sloppy, but I love Noah.

The female narrator's male impersonation is so cringe. I could almost dnf on that alone.

This has been cute, one thousand percent predictable, but ummm I'm also bored.

It's good but I'm not in the mood for YA.

The narration. 😖 Are native British narrators that hard to come by? This American doing a British accent is so so cringey.

I wish the writing wasn't so bad because I'm kind of enjoying the story.
