Really enjoy this series. The fast paced action with intriguing nuances in how the supernatural world & faerie work.

We get to delve more into Dorina, and her back story. While Dory & Louis learn how to make a relationship work. We also get to go back to Hong Kong (yay)

I’m enjoying it more, as the author gets better at the characters. I really appreciated Corin’s reaction to touch. It is a common for a person with his background & personality. It was good to see it was never magically resolved, just situations, which triggered him more or less.

Although I didn’t enjoy this as much as her other books it’s still very readable. I love Marci, Bob & Justin. I just find Julius a little wet, but I suppose that is the point.

I felt overwhelmed by the chaos in the first half of the book, which made it hard for me to enjoy. I was having trouble connecting with any of the characters, because I could not empathise with their plight. It wasn’t until Major Major that I even felt pity.

After half way a rhythm developed with the characters, and why they did what they did became clearer.

Another great time. I like the characters learning and growing, and thankfully the romance is treated gently without forced misunderstandings. The game show setting was fun. I’m looking forward to the next one.
