This book is tonally challenged, there’s a lot of really flat and boring descriptions of things awkwardly shoved in the middle of scenes that should be intense and it’s kind of frustrating

Can this guy go 5 pages without saying something heinously embarrassingly racist I feel like I’m locked in a closet with someone’s senile gay uncle

Insufferable prick shoots his wife in the head then travels world to sleep with underaged boys, litter and harass local wildlife 🫩 burroughs makes me understand the fascination some people have with lolcows I hate how much I relate to him

I absolutely love this guys voice and way of describing things already

Not sure whether to dnf this or push through even though it’s only a 3 hour audio book 🫩
