I wasn’t expecting it to be such a short story but it was compelling. The author did an excellent job in developing the characters and showing the rapid changes in this family told from the perspective of a young boy. The story was gripping and you could actually visualize the unraveling of a family but one which in the end was bound together by love and dedication.
