My tastes in books apparently swing wildly between "fantasy books of questionable literary quality" and "relatively depressing non-fiction". Thus we begin again down the depressing reality path. Next up, an escape to some other mystical land where you fix problems with conveniently mentioned magical capabilities.

This has been my longest "work in progress" book ever, I think? Purely because I can't bear to read more than a couple paragraphs at a time. Eye opening and rage inducing in equal parts.

Started the audiobook whilst on a shift at work. Had to switch back to music half way through chapter 1 because work isn't an ideal place to go through an existential crisis about the existence of the universe. Brilliantly written though, looking forward to tackling when I'm more mentally prepared

Yep, here we go again! This is the most physically battered series of books I own by far.
