This has been my longest "work in progress" book ever, I think? Purely because I can't bear to read more than a couple paragraphs at a time. Eye opening and rage inducing in equal parts.

Started the audiobook whilst on a shift at work. Had to switch back to music half way through chapter 1 because work isn't an ideal place to go through an existential crisis about the existence of the universe. Brilliantly written though, looking forward to tackling when I'm more mentally prepared

Yep, here we go again! This is the most physically battered series of books I own by far.

Uh oh, here we go again... I know the reading train has stalled cause I have 8 books "on the go" and can't concentrate on any of them for more than 5 minutes. Ah well, blasting through a bunch was fun while it lasted!

Sure, many people would argue that the reason this book is bad is due to it being filled with problematic tropes (seriously, this is my first re-read as an adult, there's SO much harmful relationship behaviour that's romanticised!), but I think the REAL major sin of this book, is that it describes a book being in the 900's section of the library. "With the other books on religion".
Religion is 200!
History is 900! XD

"What are men to rocks and mountains?" What an absolute BANGER of a quote. Austen you're killing it, I shall be reading more of your work with haste.
