chapter 36 might have just redeemed this book from 2 stars to a solid 4

i cannot take a man called Olly seriously

the decision to give the mc a dog was a bold one

the decision to name him moose and mention him once every chapter adding nothing to the story was an ever bolder one

ty for explaining the magic system to me in the middle of the book i appreciate it sm

naming the kingdom surrounded by shadows "umbra" is, to me, very unoriginal. was it called "shadow" before it was surrounded by them????????
