Oh my god. Kat is just so irritating around stuff that she should know. In both this and the preceding book she is completely incapable of understanding the world of communication from police to the general public. Which is utterably laughable given she's of decent rank. How does she continue to discount the need to keep the public on side in a time of 24/7 social media. And don't get me started on Debbie's reticence

I keep picking up intriguing books to find they are YA. there's a surface level only that is found more often than not in YA which makes for a reading experience that is lower than my expectations. It's a quick read so I'll keep going

Why is there so much biting? Why?

I am currently hate reading this book. It's so bad. Just so so bad. Hero is cringe making. Heroine is lipstick feminist.

We are two weeks in and there is still power and running water. This is so far beyond my suspension of belief.

having to put this down for a short while. the rage is overwhelming at times

I'm having problems with this book. I think it's one of those best read than listened to.
