Re-read for book club and a refresh before the new movie adaptation comes out

Listened to the first 28% of the audiobook on a long drive and this is very weird, but I’m intrigued.

I found this story interesting, but it really dragged until around the 60% point. From then on, I was invested and really enjoyed the ending. The writing style, lack of quotations, and ambiguity regarding whether the main character was thinking, talking, etc drove me nuts.
Really looking forward to the movie adaptation that comes out later this month.

Re-reading a favorite cause I’m in a little bit of a slump after Broken Dove. Might have to do a Magnolia Parks re-read and finally finish Into the Dark at this rate…

I don’t know what’s going on

Ran out of audiobook time on Spotify for the month (until tomorrow lol) and my hold on Libby is several months out but I’m really enjoying this one.

Emotional drained and sort of regretting deciding to read this book, but here we are. Must power through.
