So far, this book is trying really hard. Every character is the most interesting person ever, and all of the backstory is written in mysterious ways to pique the readers interest. It’s keeping me from being totally drawn into the book, because I’m constantly aware of the author’s effort.

This book is amazing. If you are reading this, pause what you’re doing and go buy it. Especially if you are connected to UNC-CH in any way.

A queer camp where counselors don’t understand or respect name changes? Calling bisexual people “straight acting?” I don’t know about all this.
