Gah, I just can’t get invested. The banter is cringy and cliché and I just can’t get invested into the characters. This just feels like an ACOTAR wannabe.

Later when I made love to my beautiful wife, I couldn’t help but look with hope and happiness at the eternity that stretched before us. Surrounded by friends with a prosperous town growing under our care, and wrapped up in each other. We had everything we could ever want.

*sigh* I can’t continue with this. The dialogue is not capturing my attention. I understand that this is a Tom Riddle & Hermione fanfic turned into an original work but there are too many Harry Potter mechanics and elements in the book in my opinion. It just feels to predictable, and I’m not invested in the characters.

Ummm, Helen Kestrel, if I may, what in the MOTHER-LOVING SHIFTER-VERSE ARE YOU DOING TO US!!!! My BFF and I have been reading this book since yesterday. Do you know what time it is? Yet, you decided now was a good point for a cliffhanger chapter? We have lives you know, jobs, chores, etc. and you didn’t think about that once before writing this masterpiece we can’t put down!!!! *sigh* I guess no sleep for us ;(
