The main character Lily bought a shop and is going to sell flowers with her new friend. As she is setting up the store she sprains her ankle and her friend calls her brother to come help. That is when she finds out she likes her friend's brother.

My character Iris is still on the bus to go see her mom and she thinks that someone has been hiding her mom's letters from her because she doesn't want her to be talking to her mom. Iris is also half blind because she look up at an eclipse for too long with one eye.

In the book the main character Mary Iris Malone (Mim) is on a train to go and see her sick mom. She doesn't see her move very much and she lives far away so this is going to be a long trip.
