I feel like this book is a bit too long unnecessarily. I want more between the characters at the same time though.

I can’t believe I read so much today, but I’m heavily invested. The relationship between Jake 2 and Mara reminds me a lot of the characters from the Firebird series. I’m extremely invested and I feel like something not so good is going to happen to Jake, Mara’s Jake.

I’m finally back to reading this one after taking a detour and reading another highly anticipated read. As of right now the world building is great as usual, but I want more Nasir and Zafira.

I’m enjoying this book a lot better then the second one. I feel like the second one could have been condensed and this series could have passed for a duology.

I’m not really enjoying this one. It seems to be suffering from the second book syndrome that so often occurs in series. As of current nothing much has happened.

Altair 😩 ugh my soul. I feel so bad for him. I haven’t been reading this as much because of trying to get a use of kindle unlimited before I unsubscribe for awhile, but if poetic writing is what you like, this is perfect.

I don’t like Callie’s best friend, Temper. She’s rude and not in the badass bitch kind of way, she’s just rude.

Ok, but this is actually really good. This was recommended to me after u finished reading ACOSF. So far we’ve only really explored who the characters are and what they are. We are getting sprinkles of the relationship Des has Callie. It’s so vague, but there is a lot to unpack and I’m excited to see where this book is going.

I’m not sure where this is going, but I know this definitely isn’t a straight line. Something is off, I feel a plot twist coming on.

Pretty good so far. I like the story, I’m a little annoyed at how the main character treats/thinks about her “best friend”.
He did some dumb stuff, but his intent was pure. I also am not really fond of this story being told in first person, it’s too much of the main character and she’s not very amiable.

Dark romance with explicit content. The problem with books like this is that the plot falls flat. I just finished book one and honestly I don’t even care to continue at this point. Will I? Absolutely, because the DNF demon inside of me refuses to let me DNF a book/series. So here we go, I’ll start book two, but I’m not happy about it.

I’m not too far in, but my favourite trope is friend-lover. At first, Luke was giving me nasty possessive vibes. However, I think this is all a scheme and he knows something and wants to protect Luella and he’s just thinking with his ass instead of using logic. I think I know what he knows, but I don’t want to spoil it.

I’m still struggling to really stay interested. There is a plot, but it feels like it’s suffocating under forced character interactions. I’m not sure Reid has a personality other than being “wholesome”. But he isn’t, he has just been sheltered. Coco and Lou also just don’t interest me. I’m kind of sick of Lou. But I’m determined to finish it.

I am so bored. I don’t like Lou and honestly don’t really care for anyone else. Why does no one have a personality?

I’m kind of bored and I just remembered I don’t really care for any of the characters.

Den of Vipers has prepped me for this. I’m unfazed by it all. I’m hoping this has a plot and the plot only isn’t that the female lead is a strong female. I’m all for strong, female leads. But I want a good plot too. It’s definitely still too early to judge and I am enjoying what I’ve read so far.

This book is captivating in such a distressful manner. The plot is consistent with one intended goal. It’s a slow progressive plot, but still worth reading every detail. It’s both disturbing and beautiful in how nonchalant the characters are about all of this.

Y’all when I tell you I screamed, I screamed. So I don’t know much about this book besides that it’s a murder mystery. But there is a line in this book, rather a scene that is driven by “Bunny” and he said one of the most shockingly homophobic this I’ve read in a book. I don’t know where this book is going, but it’s going somewhere.

Ronan Lynch only thinks he’s bad ass, but he is the biggest softy. I’m there for it.

I have no idea what’s happening between Declan and Jordan, but this moment is really intense and no one is even doing anything. They are literally just talking.

I’m so happy to be reading about Adam and Ronan again.

I’m speechless. I’ve cringed out of horror and disgust multiple times. My heart aches for Jude.

You ever just sit and let the tears come: I am absolutely heart broken for Jude.

I grew up loving Finnick and Gale. Revisiting this is just reminding me why. I was always team Gale. I’m just a sucker for friends turning into something more.

This is truly unique to the usual Marie Lu book. I never knew I’d be interested in reading a fictional story about Mozart’s sister, but here we are.

I feel like this would be a cute story time book to progressively read to kids age 7+
