my favorite part so far is the section “what is Irishness?,” and goes on to name it as trialectic between north, south, and diaspora. A very moving case for diaspora to once again be involved in the trichotomy as we “retain a notion of Irishness both without and beyond partition.” How diaspora have been able to exist by crossing borders is a great case for abolishing them.

Don’t know how I feel about Paul and how he wants to handle things, sort of rooting for him? But also he still sounds like an imperialist despite everything that’s happened so fuck em too
