So far, this is a party great book! As an atheist who was raised by very fundamentalist evangelicals (as a know it all teen, I would have ranted about why those words don’t go together!), I can relate to a lot of what the author is describing.

Outstanding story, so far!

This was an excellent collection of essays and histories that demonstrates the failure of democracy, even direct democracy, to effect any lasting change.

The writing was quite enjoyable and easy to read, and always left me pondering what I'd just read, whenever I was forced to put the book aside.
