Not sure about %. Currently on Chapter 27, the plot is getting interesting.

Slow pacing. I'm skipping some paragraphs.

Reading this after a wonderful book series is not recommended. Parking this for now.

A wonderful idea occurs to Abel. “Do you need more practice?”
“Huh?”
“We could practice, if you wanted.” He smiles as he starts to explain.

(1) "She had closed her eyes, opened them, and found Kylo Ren there--right next to her where she sat on the stone bench. As if she could actually reach out and touch his hand, his face, his hair."
(2) "Rey stared at him, but there was no lie in Kylo's eyes. And a terrifying realization bloomed in her mind: Kylo's churning emotions weren't just about himself. They were also about her."

Putting these right here.

Promising start then dwindled down to bland predictable conflict -- I practically squirmed! Not sure I could finish this -- probably because it pales in comparison to the book I read prior to this novel.

Hook, line & sinker! Just got transported to another dimension. The world building is just too impressive to pass. Other writers should definitely take note!

So, Bran was changed to Locke. :) He is dreamy but I ship Jude with Cardan from the start (sucker for love-hate trope).

Don't want to continue reading as I know it will be done soon.. and the waiting game for the next book starts. Yes, this book got me hooked -- I don't want it to be over yet.

On to Part 2: The Twisted King -- Need to put the book down for a while... just for a while.

I guess I am getting hooked. Cheers to depriving myself of sleep because I need to finish Book #1 tonight. ☺
