This book is so hard for me to get through because I am just so BORED. But I'm pushing through nonetheless... I wish I liked it more because it has all the elements of something I'd love but the plot feels like it is dragginggggg.

I feel like in every Eloise Harper book you get introduced to a character you just KNOW is not surviving to the end

Amara's choices always give me so much anxiety but she's a diva and I love it.

My libby book loan is due in 13 hours so I have to slam the second half of this book TODAY. I'm thoroughly enjoying it though! I feel like it gives a very unique and realistic perspective of life in Pompeii.

I am loving this setting sooo much! 1920s NYC is such a perfect setting for a dark world of vampires/vampire hunters. I'm just getting into the meat of the story but excited to see where it goes.

So beautifully written and gripping!! I'm constantly anxious to know what is coming next.
