How do Persephone and Adam get better every book!? Ugh I love them so much and can’t wait to see this put to screen.

When I heard this was the best of the bunch I knew I needed a break from reading my heavy fantasy novels. Here for Persephone and Adam, staying for Daphne and James.

Oh we're cooking now! This book has sprung to life for the last 100 pages.

Talk about dragging 😭 at least Elias is interesting.

Tick tock why is my favorite character still sidelined!?

Alright this is starting to drag a bit. I see where the plot is going, I really do, it's just we've been treading water for 100 pages.

Eating up every word but I'm ready for this plot to keep moving. I miss Ary being Ary!!!!!

This book keeps you up at night, both reading and dreaming about what could happen next.

The way this book so seamlessly gives us a recap of book one while also adding depth to emotions, and adding lore we haven't seen is so perfect. I've read too many sequels lately that don't do any recap and so I am so thankful for this. Now just gimmee a present day POV from Gavin pleaseeeeeeee

I am SAT.

Some of the issues I had with book 2 are already rearing their heads but I am determined to finish this series because I loved book one that much!!!!

At first I was not digging the plot but I'm so glad it did not go the way I was suspecting. I'm intrigued by the mystery elements and can't wait to see how it goes now. These two main characters are angstyyyyy.

Either this is the SLOWEST burn in history or I am destined to pull all my hair out of my head when these two inevitably just stare longingly at each other for the rest of time… or at least until book 2.

Jealous of the people in the future that can read this series without pausing for release dates.

God bless the author and the characters she's written to be communicative.

The handling of so many POVs is actually some of the best I've seen. Tell me why I am invested in EVERYONE???

Another slower start but I love that these characters are all back together after a book and a half apart. Silla remains the most interesting perspective but I find that I'm enjoying the others more than the previous book.

I simply do not want this story to end. What a wonderful journey it has been so far.

This is one of the best books I've read this year and I'm barely 25% done. What a phenomenal adult fairytale. I'm hanging on to every word.

I am quite enjoying this novel. It does sometimes feel like each chapter is just a new scene moving the plot along in loosely strung tother string, but I'm enjoying the balance in focus of the main characters and the romance is actually quite good... I just wish something would happen (I'm sure we're building up to that).

This book has such a great intro. Really excited to see where this story goes!

What a delightful change of pace this has been. Beautiful in every sense of the word and very enjoyable.

I am lovingggggg watching these two fall for each other. I need to read this whole series now.
