Does this book never end lmao. Don’t get me wrong I love this world and these characters but where are the stakes? Where is the pacing? Throne of glass books feel like 100 pages, but I am feeling all 700 of this one.

Okayyyyy I’m starting to think maybe this book didn’t need to be THIS long. Wrap it up.

I feel like this book has some crazy pacing issues?? Despite that I am loving the game of thrones vibes and the dynamic that the sisters add to this book.

Why does no one else think this one is the best??? Maybe it's the Throne of Glass girlie in me, but this book is what I thought this series would be the whole time.

This book did in fact pick up and it’s quickly becoming GREAT.

I took such a long break between book 1 and 2 but I think I’m finally remembering and understanding all the different creatures and alliances. Definitely would be a better reading experience reading them back to back!

This book definitely has some pacing problems when compared to book one. The world and its magic system are interesting and complex but the adventure elements that made book one 5 stars is missing.

I still adore these characters and the love triangle so I am in it for the long haul! Hopefully part two picks up the pace a bit.

Instantly sucked back into this world and it’s characters.

I love how this book is fixing the issues that we had with book 3. Since all four characters are time crossers here, everyone is seemingly getting enough page time to really evolve and grow.

I'm so intrigued by the women in this novel! Hopefully Charles becomes more interesting as we go. Also am more intrigued by the 1500s storyline which I didn't think I would be.

This might be the most complex of the series so far and I am looking forward to it. So many webs being weaved with different characters who definitely have secrets. Excited to see where this goes.

Though these time periods don't intrigue me nearly as much as the previous books, I am excited for how all these time crossers stories are going to intertwine with one another. Consider me seated!

Really invested in the history between these two. I find myself speed reading to get to their scenes together!

Really skimming through this one. The first 30% dragged like no other. The saving grace is the main romantic plotline for sure!

I feel like the main two finally coming together was a bit out of left field, straight from I HATE YOU to let's get crazy. I guess the connection is feasible enough but okay sure.

Loving this world though. Excited to see this plot pick up.
