I have no idea how I feel about this one, but I’m still here.

LOVING THIS. A touch languidly paced, but mostly character development; so, I cant even be mad.

Oh no. Sadly dnf-ing because I’m too lost to maintain interest. Maaaay come back later.

Crazy. Between this and Earthlings, im finding myself LOVING books I’d previously DNF-d, back-to-back. I knew I’d go back to both, and that i only stopped because it was a matter of “right book wrong time.” I’m just happy they’ve both seemed to pay off…so far. We’ll see if Migrations stays ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY.

There’s just no THERE there. Does that make sense? Im nearly halfway in and there is NARY a horror, slightly unbelievable inciting circumstances, and lots of attempts at atmosphere that just come off as meandering.

My tbr is too long to continue.

Listening to audiobook. Author is reading… not his strongest suit.

Started great. Now we’re meandering a bit. We’ll see.

Hmmmm… dnf-ing at 15% NOT BECAUSE IT’S BAD… just not connecting with it, and since I love D.S. figured I should try again when my heart is in it.

I’m loving this though not horror. Squarely in the suspense/thriller slot.

Started strong… now I cant seem to stay in it. Im bored to tears even though the subject and setting are riveting. The storytelling though, might be a bit too muddy to keep me engaged for much longer.

Holy shit. Literally just the INTRODUCTION has me RAPT.
