So far loving the lore, and ofcourse I love love love that the author went the whole giving Oke a fish shack route and the fmc Cora is surprisingly smart. After a sleuth of very idiotic fmcs this is very refreshing. (Also omg smash the god please)

I had never thought I'd pick a memoir but after reading a couple reviews and seeing as I find myself on the same overbridge as Westover I felt it appropriate to read. After more than a month this is truly the first book getting me into the hang of reading. Her experiences about indoctrination, religion and neglectful abuse mirrors my own experiences so much it's hard to parse through where her ends and mine begins.
