Oh what a complicated situation they all put themselves in. Funny thing is that I can easily recognise that a woman has written this book. No way a man thinks like that? I hope they do but it feels very familiar to me the way women think. The writing took me by surprise at first but it does deliver the characters well. And I would like to say if another person tried to write this I would have probably hated the story

4 years later, and I am back reading this book. Thoughts on the first 2 chapter; athiesm sucks. How can one live life and keep pushing amidst all of the disgusting things happening around us when they don't believe that there is any reason for our suffering? How can one really continue living? And my question to athiests is do you have it in you to change your views, or do you want to refute the existence of God only

Could not imagine even more despair

What a terrible thing war is. I mean, obviously. But it hurts when you imagine people you know, family and friends alive and well, going through this at a time in their lives. It is tragic to be alive and to continue living during war time.
