I don’t know why it’s taking me so long to finish reading this book. Maybe it’s out of fear as the premise and treatment of the women in this book doesn’t feel dystopian. On the contrary, the real life inspiration is quite visible. Nothing represented seems far fetched and yet it’s all so unjust. Makes me tired of both being a woman and living in this surveillance world
